Summary: If Frankenstein can't get a brain to work right in an artificial body, what are the chances it'll work with a body made of metal?! Seriously, no matter how many times it happens, a scientist finds a way to defile and ruin some good person's cadaver. And now the Big Apple gets its own dead man walking. Great.
History: Jeremy Spensser was one of the most respected members of the scientific community, often considered to be the one who might put humanity on the course to the great bright future. After all, it did run in the family! Unfortunately, a car-related accident leaves him quite dead, and his wife a widow. However, his dad is not willing to let his son's intellect go out so quickly, and he makes it his mission to resurrect his son in some way. Eventually, with Jeremy's brain in his care, he crafts a robotic body with the assistance of his other son, Henry. But upon regaining consciousness in this new body, Jeremy's first thought is to beg for death. And just when he's getting the hang of the new life, his countless introverted days and lack of interaction with his family begins to erode his mind, and it isn't long before he begins to see the rest of his human ilk as puny weaklings...

Final Fate: After Jeremy assaults the United Nations building, it is ultimately Jeremy's own son Billy who has to stop him. After regaining some of his humanity, Jeremy allows Billy to flip the switch on him that ends his functioning. He does, and the Colossus falls over, with a blood-like liquid leaking out of his metal eyes.
Powers/Abilities: For some reason, Jeremy's father saw it fit that his new metal body would be able to hypnotize and control humans and shoot eye beams. Dad of the year, folks.
Weakness: There is a switch located on Jeremy that he can't reach that shuts him down.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-If daddy Spensser's plan was to invent a robot Tor Johnson, then he succeeded. But despite that, this Colossus is a bit intimidating with his growing nihilism and power. His eye beams in particular are a sight to behold for the time.
Trivia: -The idea of "Whole Brain Emulation", or transporting one's conscious into a cybernetic body, has been in debate for decades now. And according to some, it won't be long until it becomes reality...
-That eerie piano music in the film is the work of composer Van Cleave.
